Top Trends: Blend Boho with Silver Wall Art
Boho is one of the top trending styles for 2024– and it’s easy to see why! This laid-back, nature-inspired style will make your space look easy, breezy, and effortlessly contemporary. Silver might not be the first color that comes to mind when you hear “bohemian.” However, that’s all the more reason to mix this metallic shade into your boho interior! 2024 is all about taking chances and exploring unconventional trends. The addition of cool metallic tones to a bohemian space is ultra-trendy and unexpected. Start with the typical warm, earthy textiles that are typically associated with bohemian style, and then add silver in the form of subtle accents. Balance is key when it comes to updating the bohemian trend to 2024 standards!
Wall Decoration: Silver Accents
There are several ways to incorporate silver in a subtle (yet striking) way. Silver has an inherently cold appearance, so it’s important to fill your room with cozy textiles to offset the cool color. If you want to commit to the boho look, experiment with pillows and blankets in orange and gold hues. Hang natural wall décor like macrame and add organic furniture pieces made of rattan and raw wood. Make sure your interior is well-lit for an airy, spacious feel. Now it's time to add the stunning silver touches! Metallic details like modern light fixtures can add the perfect contemporary twist to your boho space. Finish the look with a piece of silver wall art. A silver-toned print is the perfect way to add a splash of silver without changing the aesthetic of your space. Create contrast with the perfect hint of silver.

Color Concepts: Gold and Silver Wall Art
While mixing gold and silver used to be regarded as a major design no-no, times have changed. In fact, the combo of gilded details with splashes of silver is super-hot among top designers. If your space is already full of gold, feel free to add silver in the form of wall art. You can also add a print that combines both of these sparkling hues.
Decorating with Metallics: Pro Tips
ElephantStock's interior design expert Elimar Lobo Sáenz shares her tips for decorating with metallic tones:
“There are endless, stylish ways to incorporate gold and silver into your home décor. Mixed metals are trending for 2024. Dare to mix warm, golden finishes with cool chrome and nickel accents. This is a great way to warm up your space but still keep it contemporary. Keep your base cool and add flecks of gold and copper for a modern look. Consider using reclaimed copper for a super trendy touch. Gold or silver wallpaper is a low-commitment option to make your interior shine. Hop on the Hollywood Regency revival train by paring metallic details with a rich color scheme. Lastly, wrought iron is back in a big way!”

Silver Framed Wall Art: Shapes & Layouts
Framed artwork is a classy addition to any space. A silver theme looks stunning in a sleek frame. We offer framed prints in both horizontal and vertical layouts. If you want to find out more about framed vs unframed art, view these excerpts below:
The Benefits of a Framed Print
-A Polished Look
Framed artwork always looks sleek and polished. The chic, refined look subconsciously impacts the viewer's perception of your overall space.
-The Floating Illusion
Because of the intentional gap between the canvas and the frame, the print looks as if it is floating inside the frame, giving your wall art an eye-popping, three-dimensional appearance!
-A Low-Profile Appearance
One of the major benefits to framed artwork is that it looks lightweight and low-profile, which results in an airy, clean look.”
The Benefits of an Unframed Canvas
-Ideal for a Large, Empty Space
Do you have a lot of space that features a clean, large, empty wall? If so, an unframed canvas artwork can be a super-easy statement piece.
-No Distractions from the Artwork
While frames can sometimes distract from the artwork itself, an unframed canvas keeps the art the center of attention.
-Affordability
Our canvas prints cost less when compared with the framed option, making it a more affordable choice to stick within a tight decorating budget.

Silver Wall Décor: Ultimate Size Guide
Follow these tips from our Ultimate Wall Art Size Guide to choose the right size silver print for your space:
“Your wall art should take up around 60% to 75% of the total wall space, excluding the portion covered by moldings or furniture. Measure the height and width of the wall. After you have those measurements, multiply them by both 0.6 and 0.75. This will give you the range of canvas print sizes to fit your wall.
For instance, if your wall is 9 feet tall and 5 feet wide, multiply 9 feet by 0.6 to get the low end of the ideal height range. Then multiply 9 feet by 0.75 to get the high end of the ideal height range. Do the exact same to your wall's 5 feet width. The ideal height of the canvas would be 5.4 feet - 6.75 feet and the ideal width would be 3 feet - 3.75 feet. Tada!
Wall art that you want to hang over furniture, such a large sofa in your living room, should be somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 of the furniture's overall width. To measure the perfect size canvas to hang above your furniture, consider this example: If your couch is 6 feet wide, multiply it by 0.66 and 0.75. Therefore, you would need a canvas between 3.96 feet and 4.5 feet wide to look impressive above the couch.”

Modern Decor: Pro Tips
While we’re usually given advice on how to make an interior look modern, we’re not often given tips on what NOT to do. Our design pro Elimar Lobo Sáenz shares her insight:
“When creating a contemporary space, make sure to avoid these faux-pas at all costs:
-Choosing pieces solely for looks and not practicality
-Putting too much emphasis on symmetry and a balance that looks inorganic
-Trying to incorporate too many trends at once
-Sacrificing your personality for current styles and trends
-Sticking to solely neutral tones without pops of color throughout your space
-Making your television or entertainment console the focus of the room, rather than art”
